Apple’s upcoming event scheduled on Oct 22nd expectations for what will be shown are in many cases continuing to firm up with rumors and speculations circulating the WEB. StorageLook is not accustom to post rumors however one of our long time insider source within Apple brought some interesting bit of information. This source is familiar with Apple’s retail products and we have reached it few time in the past to learn about Apple’s component sourcing.
This time this source claims that to only see Haswell based MacBook Pro with Retina display, which led us to think that Apple may be looking to drop the non retina MacBook Pro, we urge you to take this with a grain of salt as not seeing doesn’t nessesaty means they don’t have it… However with rumors saying that the new MacBook Pro will be slimmer and closer in size to the MacBook Air and as PC sells numbers are declining it makes sense to differentiate the two product lines even further.
Dropping the non retina MacBook Pro could mean that Apple is also about to reduce the price on its Retina MacBook Pro to better compete against number of high end 1080 Ultrabooks and close the gap between the two product lines.
